Little Library

We now have a “Little Library” at the corner of Turtle Creek Road and Wood Chase Drive.
The Little Library is a free book-sharing box that operates on the honor system. Anyone may take a book or share a book, but you do not have to share a book to take one. If you take a book or two from the little library, and you have some to share, bring them.



The Gopher Tortoise

As residents of Willow Walk, we share our environment with an abundance of wildlife. Common inhabitants of our community include deer, birds, raccoons, and opossums. Less common are gopher tortoises, ancient reptiles that have established at least three burrows in vacant areas between Willow Walk Place and the railroad tracks. These gentile creatures deserve our stewardship.

Pets

Our furry friends make life so enjoyable. Let’s make sure we keep it enjoyable for everyone. Please remember to clean up after your pet and to keep them on their leash. Promote a beautiful and responsible community. It’s the right thing to do and it’s the law.

Waste Management

Pick-up for our trash is on Thursdays. Pick-up for our yard waste is on Fridays. Please don’t put your trash out the day before. Also, please do not use HOA common areas for staging your trash unless coordinated with the adjacent residents. If you use a lawn service, please pass along this info. And yes, occasionally we need to pick up after Waste Management. They can only manage so much waste at a time.

Speeding

We have had two close calls in the community recently involving speeding vehicles and others not slowing down or stopping at our stop signs. Please obey our street laws. Don’t jeopardize yourself, our neighbors, their animals, and especially our children that are out playing. You’ll be home in ten seconds. Please do not escalate this issue. And mention it to your contractors as well, please.

ACC Change Form

An ACC Change form is required for any exterior changes or additions to your structures (including fences, shed, patios) or with larger tree removal. Remember that our ACC members have years of professional and personal experience with tree care and would be willing to offer advice promoting longevity and good health. The form may be found and downloaded in our resources and documents section.
